Show up to multiple rush events and form relationships with brothers that are heavily involved with their fraternity's rush process. Top tier fraternities look for men that can strike a balance between showing that they are serious about joining the fraternity, but not try too hard and come off as weird/creepy/desperate. Be careful what you say, but also be yourself and allow your personality and humor to shine.
Rush works both ways, so be sure that if you get a bid it's based on who you are and not because of an act that you've put on.
