what's the better situation?
by: ...I'm at another school currently but I'm wondering what's better getting into a sorority here: Do I rush at my school and then join the chaper at OSU or do I just rush as a sophomore?

Well, if you affiliate with your sorority's chapter here, you won't get a big sister, which is a bummer. Plus, you have to be voted in by some chapters, and if you are rejected, you become an alum of whatever sorority you were in and yeah, can't join another one again.
There are girls who rushed their first year and didn't get in who are trying again, and there are some who didn't consider rushing until sophomore year. From what I hear is that the top tier sororities will take SOME sophomores. The middle tier sororities are more open to taking sophomores (I think your best bet would be here). The bottom tier sororities will definitely take sophomores.
All in all though, it really depends on whether the sorority likes you, bc even freshman get can be dropped!

Yea, I get that. But I guess I'm just wondering how competitive it is as a sophomore to rush. Do sororities look down upon it here?
