gamma phi beta
by: Just WonderingI'm looking into transferring from a school down south. Long story short, I'm already a Gamma Phi. Knowing that this chapter is new and all, should I just go alum or is it a house worth joining? Just looking for a little public opinion on the chapter as a whole.

I'm in a top sorority on campus here and would rejoin with my affiliation no matter what they are like at another school... And honestly they arent even a bad chapter. I mean, theyre a NEW chapter so of course they are kind of random. But there are some cute and very fun girls that I met at an event last year and I've seen at football blocks and stuff. If you gave it a chance, I would imagine that you could find some girls that you fit in with.

My best friend decided to rush Gamma Phi here for the opportunity of chartering a new chapter. She had never gone through rush, and was genuinely excited to be a part of something new. I urge you to meet the girls, I have met a lot of her sisters and they are very welcoming and genuine. Because it's a chartering class they don't really have a "stereotype", other than that they aren't supermodels (which if that's why you're in your sorority, then I feel sorry for you). Don't read the ratings here, almost none of them focus on sisterhood and only talk about the attractiveness of the members. Actually reach out to their chapter members and they may be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck!
