No they won’t, when chapters get kicked off it’s because they have like 5-10 members like aopi did. Gphi has almost 100 or something so they’ll be around for awhile I’m sure

tbh, you might've wanted to pick a different sorority. between the amount of girls who drop their first or second year in and them being the most unsupportive chapter on campus, their future looks bad. take it from someone who knows

This is absolutely not true, it would be a known fact if they were. They have over 100 members and just got a new house, they’re not going anywhere

Hi! Totally fair question considering you probably just went through recruitment and are going through the new member process - it all can be very stressful so I can understand your worries.

Short answer: no, they aren't and that's not true. (Their Internationals would announce and start that process if it was true.) I know they are actively working on COB, which isn't anything new, so you'll probably have a bunch of people join your PC. Looking through some events they posted on their Insta, they look like they're having fun and making the process more approachable. Someone else mentioned that they just got a new house, so I'd imagine they're planning on being here for awhile.

People like to talk and gossip throughout the Greek community - it's sadly kind of how it goes and people like to drag others down which really sucks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Best advice I'd give you is to not really take what people say (esp on GreekRank) too seriously. You joined for reason and your experience is what you make it. There's always going to be negative people - both inside and outside your chapter. Your attitude and actions are what YOU control, which does reflect back on your chapter. It's a new experience and can be really intimidating, but it's also really exciting and you'll meet all sorts of people who impact your experience.

you should've dropped not being in greek life is better than being in gpigs... philanthropy is girls on the run but they can't even walk to class..
