Am I cooked after formal rush?
by: MistakeMadeNot going to name the house, but I received a bid from my 2nd choice pref house I thought was pretty cool during rush. Was caught off guard trying to chat with some of the girls tonight that rushed me during the process when they didn't even remember my name along with a few not even recognizing me. Think I may have made a mistake here. Am I still allowed to drop out and rush all over again next year, or am I cooked? Was not what I was expecting toninght.

You're going to be just fine. The sorority members are exhausted, completely physically and emotionally drained, half of them are getting sick, and can hardly remember their own names right now. You'll see when you're on the other side it as a member. Throw in classes and the game and it's really just too much, everyone's wrecked right now.

just give it some time. go to some events & new member ed. bidday is literally so overwhelming. you will be okay!

Don't think it is cool to name the house. Just want to get my hand around what my options are, if any, after bid day.
