Can someone explain how sorority cuts are made?
by: CuriousI'm genuinely curious. I don't have a great GPA (bombed one class in the fall, am a transfer) and am wondering if that's why I didn't get asked back to most houses for round two? If so, will this impact me moving forward in rush or now that I'm "in" for these houses, will this no longer impact me, as far as rush goes?

Can’t speak for every sorority, but sometimes when they have to make tough decisions they nit pick. However, a lot of the times there’s an understanding that first semester (especially for more difficult majors) isn’t always the prettiest. I can genuinely say most cuts are truly based on whether or not you meshed with girls. So if you have some houses that you still enjoy going back to, definitely stick it out.
