They have done informal in the past. Last year they had only a couple of openings so their events were invitation only for friends of current members. Typically they like girls that get very good grades, preferably over a 3.5 GPA. They really don't stress involvement. While the girls are kind of cute, they are kind of boring.

So if you don't have friends within the sorority, is it basically impossible to do informal? Is there anyone within the sorority you could contact to express your interest if you don't know anyone?

Chi O is underrated. I agree they aren't the most wild sorority but they are smart and more classy than a lot of other chapters and still have pretty members.

email recruitment chairs at houses youre interested for informal, even if you dont know if theyre holding it. (like they said, a lot of its invitation only). attach your resume/picture and get a letter of rec and then they should invite you out on a COB. thats what my friend did for xo, but she ended up somewhere else. good luck! chi o is a really great house and everyone i know in it loves it!

Just a typical resume, like one I would hand in with a job application?

yeah generally. i would google what to include in a resume to a sorority. it would be mostly high school stuff like things you were involved with, sports you played, grades, etc. just a way for the sorority to get to know you and match you up with the right people.

Chi O is infested with termites. Why would you want to go there?
