Why do frats do this

I don’t understand why for like one semester each year any specific frat will become absurdly active on this site like last year it was theta chi behind more than half the posts and then now it seems like every recent post or comment is beta trying to self rank themselves higher and it’s very clear when a post or comment has 20 upvotes in 5 minutes that it was organized in a groupchat
