Beta reportedly in danger of losing chapter house

Beta’s treasurer was caught siphoning money to private account managed by a family member; he did not get the expected yield and now the chapter has a deficit of $23k this semester. Nationals is refusing to assist them as this is something that they’ve had issue with in the past. They can no longer afford to make up payments for the unfilled rooms in their house. They will either be losing chapter house or looking to merge as early as next year.
