what is informal sorority recruitment like?

i went thru informal recruitment. you wont know which houses are doing it until a couple weeks into the school year. also, a lot dont advertise that they are COBing so you either have to email the recruitment chairs or just know if they are or not if you have friends in the house. usually there will be open houses and then if they like you, youll go on a COB. some just go straight to COBing if theyre only taking a couple girls. in my opinion its way easier than formal recruitment but youre also competing for fewer spots. good luck!
