transfer
by: sophomoreIm transferring to OSU in the fall and will be a sophomore and was wondering how the fraternities view transfers. Will it affect my chances of getting a bid?

Being a transfer won't affect anything. It's pretty common. You'll still be judged by the same standards as everyone else when it comes to rushing. Just know that not every fraternity puts a big emphasis on fall rush. Some focus more on spring. Regardless, your pledge class size will be smaller in the fall than the spring no matter which fraternity you rush, but you'll also be with upperclassmen, not freshmen

^basically what they said. Expect pledge class sizes of about:
Phi psi - 10
TKE - 10-15
Kappa Sig - 10-15
Delt - 15-20
Sig Chi - 15-20
Pike - 15-20
SAE - 10-15
So max about 115ish guys will join the best fraternities. Any of the other fraternities probably won't set a limit and will just take whoever they can get
