Do sororities at Ohio State require letters of rec?

They are not required but they definitely don't hurt you unless have alums send dozens to each chapter.
If you can get one then great. The chapter knows you before you walk in. However all chapters do give bids to girls without recs.

Went through recruitment and had recs for two top tiers, one dropped me during philanthropy round and the other kept me until pref. Recs definitely help, can keep you in rush for a house longer and will get you better people to talk to.
