there are so many pnms, how do the strats choose who they want for next round based on these short convos?

Not true. Ohio State uses something called RFM rules eg Release Figures Methodology. The most popular and desired houses have to make very hard cuts each round and release the women they have no intention of bidding. This is kinder to PNMs as it means they don’t get strung along and can focus on other houses. For example Alpha Phi is one of the most popular houses son more women want them than they have bid spots for. So rather than keep inviting back girls they know they don’t want, they cut them and have smaller return parties. Other houses then can invite more women back which means they have a larger pool to bid from.
