Do y'all actually enjoy this?

I'm just curious what the obsession with ranks is about. Is it fun to constantly compare yourself and your chapter to others? Does it diminish your Greek life experience in any way to ignore the ranking system and engage with the members and PNMs of your chapter? Greek life is something that could be so fun so I'm just curious why people are so dedicated to this miserable aspect.

Exactly. People are too caught up in putting others down to make themselves look better. It probably stems from insecurity. I was disappointed in this after I joined greek life.
