Which frats are best for POC

Your skin color will not play a factor within the recruitment process of any fraternities here at Ohio State. However, some fraternities have more POCs than others. Notable examples include Beta, Pi Kapp, Theta Chi, SAE, Acacia, and Fiji. This is because their rush process tends to be more “fair” (you don’t necessarily need to know someone to get in.) The quote on quote “top” fraternities are typically rich white kids who maybe had a few POC friends in high school, and when it’s a rush process based on “who do you know”, it creates a feedback loop where it’s mostly white. Check out maybe 3 fraternities and go where you like the guys the most. Hope this helps

I’d say check out phi psi pikapp and some of the other mid tier level frats. Just based off parties I’ve been to and guys I’ve met I’d say they have the most diversity among members and I have never felt uncomfortable at their events in regards to my race. I can not say the same about some of the “top” frats.

Some frats have minority quotas because they want to look like they embrace diversity but once you get a bid there you’ll be an outcast so watch out
