fall informal fraternity rush?

What is the difference between informal and formal rush?
Which fraternities will host informal in the fall?
And since they cant take freshmen, how many sophomores and juniors do they usually take?

Unlike sororities, most fraternities (unless in trouble, like TKE in Fall 2012 and Sig Chi in Fall 2013) will hold rush. Some of the really small fraternities probably don't do Fall rush because they'd get 2 pledges or so.
Biggest difference would mainly be much smaller pledge classes, with the majority being sophomores and maybe juniors here and there. I believe TKE took like 20 while Phi Psi and Delt only took like 12.
Another difference would be the big sororities usually don't do Fall rush. Therefore, if you're in a bigger fraternity, the sororities you're having pregames and TGs with won't have a pledge class.
