You can't have good greek life at a school when the administration does not at all support us. They have this plan to completely change greek life and throw away 100+ years of tradition. The rules they have for us are completely unrealistic and designed to get any real fraternity thrown off campus. That being said this is still Ohio State and we have a better social scene than 90% of other schools

yeah its not like Beta and Sig Chi (both alpha chapters) just got kicked off Miami or anything, or how schools in the south are putting all their chapters on probation until they are re-evaluated and cleared to continue.
I went to a southern school and transfered back home. The reason you think that it's so bad here is because compared to a lot of schools the way that we rank and value our chapters is so off, a lot of schools with large greek systems dont need to be yelled at because they are doing everything well from partying to service or their alums yell at them.

AEPhi didnt come to mind for anything and GPhi is too new to tell. I'm not saying that ChiO/DDD/DZ is top tier, just that when you look at the big picture they do things better than some people we consider "top tier"

Why would anyone want to have a TG at a house anyway? Maybe other chapters do it differently but we always have a pregame at an annex and then just go downtown. And while IFC does suck it is a complete lie to say that there aren't fun house parties that go on. If you can't have fun at OSU you are lame.

lol every other school does it at their own house and there greek life is 10x better than here. House parties got old after high school, Greek life will always blow here until there a change

The Greek at the SEC schools are way more responsible and way better organized in terms of the TG and other types of parties. We here at OSU how iresspobsibility and lack of organization at our parties, which ends up with someone getting hurt. That is the big difference.

Stop comparing yourselves to Greek Life at SEC schools. It's comparing apples and oranges. I love the spontaneity of our parties and ours do get a little crazier but that's what I like about northern fraternities and sororities. We don't have a stick up our ass and feel the needs to be southern belles and gentlemen all of the time

I agree with your first part, but you obviously haven't partied with any of your hs friends at their schools... A lot of schools have just as good if not better part scene.
