should i contact fraternities

Visiting the campus next month, I'm a transfer for next year. While im around should i contact fraternities of interest to get to know them earlier, or just wait til rush?

I'm in a sorority, and i'd recommend girls do it. but for frats like kappa sig, phi psi, teke i think it will be in your best interest to talk to early, because their rush has been very competitive (sig chi has also to an extent).

but if you can't, i'm sure it won't hurt you too badly in the long run.

There are lhundreds of kids that rush TKE and phi psi. It wouldn't be a bad idea. Smaller fraternities are usually less competitive but some of them have gotten increasing numbers like with the person above said about sig chi
