informal rush and rec letters

Not all the houses do informal and there aren't many spots compared to spring. Ranges from like 3-15, depending on how their formal recruitment went. It always helps to have letters, no matter the house. Some sororities will only give you a sprite date (don't ask, that's just what they're called) if you get a recommendation from inside the chapter. Others will have rush parties for everyone interested- it really depends and varies.

If you reallyyyy want to do informal, try it out, but you'll miss out on seeing every house. It's up to you!

i doubt informal is going to happen at all in the fall. a lot of chapters are COBing right now to reach quota in the spring instead of the fall. just wait until formal!

PHA will set a total in the Fall. There will probably be a little COR for those under total, but it will be a very limited number of houses that need to fill a limited number of spots.
