informal rush and rec letters
by: SophTransferHi I'll be transferring to OSU next year and am thinking of going through informal recruitment. What's informal recruitment like at OSU? Also do I need letters of recommendation for informal recruitment?

Not all the houses do informal and there aren't many spots compared to spring. Ranges from like 3-15, depending on how their formal recruitment went. It always helps to have letters, no matter the house. Some sororities will only give you a sprite date (don't ask, that's just what they're called) if you get a recommendation from inside the chapter. Others will have rush parties for everyone interested- it really depends and varies.
If you reallyyyy want to do informal, try it out, but you'll miss out on seeing every house. It's up to you!
