This is how I see things after going through recruitment 2014:

Thetas, Kappas, KD's chi's and tri delts are more of the refine girls, classic, and intelligent.

Pi phi, DG, AGD and Alpha phi are trendy, ditzy out there girls, not a whole lot of substance aside from their looks.
