The more social sororitys have pregames and go downtown every Thursday night, and TGs are typically on Fridays. Date parties and Formals are usually on a Friday or Saturday night, and there will probably be a couple each semester. For Greek Week, you'll probably have a social event every night of the week if you don't have a lame pairing.

It depends on what sorority you are in to be honest. Thursday night there will usually be a pregame with a frat and buses will be provided to go downtown. Very few in the "top tier" social circles will stay on campus Thursday if they go out. Friday or Saturday are open to TG (Themed Gathering) where you have a pregame and go to a venue with a theme, date parties where you ask a date and go to a rented out venue, and formals which are just very rich n igga date parties (If a guy asks you to formal you better knock boots ho). If you are hot and popular you can realistically get a date to most fraternities date parties that you would want to go to.
