chances trying to understand

by:

If I am lucky enough to go back to Theta, Kappa and Alpha phi for pref round i am wondering what my chances are to end up in one of those 3.

So typically how far down their bid list do they get girls or do they each get the top 1/3 of their list??

mind, because those houses are WAY different!
Kappa has a country club kinda snobby feel.
Theta is very focused on grades.
Alpha Phi is hipster or jersey style and has a lot of drama.

If you pref these houses together, you werent being honest with yourself during recruitment.

I agree that you need to keep an open mind, but houses aren't as strict with stereotypes as this site would make you believe. It's very easy to get along with a wide variety of girls- especially if you're chill, and I know chill girls in all three of those houses. Trust your gut and don't listen to people who say you'll hate house x,y,z for whatever reason. There's a reason to love every house.

Also, if you're invited to those three for preference, I'd be incredibly surprised if you didn't get a bid to one. I guess there's a chance, but I really wouldn't sweat it that much.

1/3 of each list is way off base.

It's a combo of how the chapters rank you with how you rank them. If you rank a chapter #1 and you are on their first list, you will get your first choice. If you rank that same chapter #1 and you are way down on their second list, you probably won't get your first choice unless that chapter has a VERY bad recruitment.
