This is why I'm proud to be a member of a middle tier chapter. We don't care if you're a freshman or sophomore, and have even taken a couple of juniors on occasion if they're staying an extra year. Middle tier chapters have REAL SISTERHOOD. When we're recruiting, we care much more about the kind of person you are and how you can grow as a member of our chapter. Taking only freshman simply to "get an extra year of dues" out of a member is stupid and superficial, in my opinion. A piece of advice: don't get caught up in rankings. Be happy in a house where you will truly be appreciated and loved. I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything

Transfer students could have rushed at their prior campus. It might have kept you there.

not all chapters at OSU participate in informal and most girls want to get a feel for all the chapters a University have to offer

Thank you!! If girls transferred they could have always known they wanted to be greek and this is there first chance at recruitment, so the transfers so are going through recruitment could be just as excited and committed as freshman going through their first time too!

add the fact that if it took you an extra year to get into ohio state your probably pretty dumb, and again, WE DONT WANT YOU.
the exception would be for girls who went to better schools first and maybe returned home to Columbus

you MUST be joking.. you realize girls could have went to another University first and then transferred to osu, NOT that they didn't do anything or went to a community college first

She is probably a pissed off Pi Phi who has had to stay in the kitchen all day. Sophomores and Transfers don't worry most of the top tier sororities will look past it if you scored high enough during this past weekend. Good Luck!

Choices will be limited but there will be chapters that will ask sophomores/transfers back. Keep your options open and I'm sure you will have a chance to get into a great chapter that has a strong sisterhood. Even if you were a freshman, you could/would get cut from houses.

get over it girls, if you didnt know from right off the bat that you wanted to go greek, my chapter isnt interested.
Plus its less time to have you become a good officer
