Social sororities vs Service fraternities?

social sororities are for elitist people to flex their wealth and alleged social status—service frats involve actual philanthropy where the money/services/resources earned are not being sent straight to national chapters which pocket the money. if you want to party and have fun above all else, you may not enjoy a service frat. if you don’t like fake people and want to give back to your community, consider a service frat with a good reputation for working hard

I wish I knew about this during my time at OSU. I was in a social sorority and it was horrible for me :(

I feel that social sororities are more for people who want socially-inclined careers, such as business or communications. While service frats are more for people who see social life outside of undergraduate college life.

social srats do not help most people with their careers. people most definitely do not join a srat to get a professional leg up or to focus more on their careers

@Lmfao, I just noticed this trend as some of the chapters have a lot of comm or business students advertised on their instagram pages.
