Who calls their fraternity a frat? Even people on TFM have more respect than that...further proof that all of OSU's fraternities are bottom tier...

I mean, with Phi Psi out of the picture and Beta pretty much being non-existent, some sororities are going to be pissed with homecoming pairings.

In the past, Phi Psi, TKE, Sammy, Kappa Sig, Sigma Cho and Beta pretty much rotated with DG, Alpha Phi, Theta, Kappa, KD and Pi Phi. Now with Phi Psi officially not able to participate and Beta not being that desirable anymore, one or two top tier sororities might have to settle with someone outside the powerhouses. Couple that in with the rule that you have to wait a certain amount of quarters before you can do either HC/GW with a certain frat again (isn't 5 quarters) I suppose places like Delt, AEPi and Sig Ep (at least one of those three) might be able to get a top tier sorority for Homecoming. Then again, I don't know if a lot of sororities will want to do things with Delt since the whole Phi Psi situation.

With Phi Psi in trouble they will obviously take a couple steps back but come next spring they will be right back to normal. Beta is never going to be what they once were while we're all in college. The remaining frats sammy, tke, kappa sig, and sigma chi will only become stronger and bigger. I don't see any other frats joining the nation any time soon.

Agreed. I really think you'll see more of a collective utility amongst the Greek community if people stop caring so much about tiers and rankings.

Whether your a long established chapter with nearly 100 guys, or one with 40, or even a colony, we can all benefit from cooperation. 20% of the undergrads at the school have the money and interest in going Greek. We need to learn how to tap into that resource, there is no reason for us to be the biggest school in the Big Ten yet have the smallest Greek Life.

You must be an idiot. The reason OSU's Greek community is so small (relative to how large the school is) is a combination of two things.
1) Columbus is packed with things to do. At many other schools the only way to do anything on the weekends is by being Greek.
2) OSU's administration is insanely anti-Greek. No kegs in the house, no bar tabs, no parties past a certain time, plus a ton of other stuff that destroys our ability to have fun. If OSU had its way our Greek system would be an army of honors geeks who only did philanthropy.

I find it to be clear that the only "frats" on this campus are Sig Chi and Phi Psi. It's so obvious. Work hard, play harder. Get all the ladies

...will get more people interested in Greek life. Let's face it, without a legendary social life, Greek life is just a group of community service houses.
