Are guys jealous/envious of Phi Psi? Yeah, probably. They had it all-top tier, sorostitutes, great social calendar, kings of OSU greek life, AND THEY BLEW IT. Did they think they were invincible as a chapter? Did they not care that they look like total d-bags with strippers, and what the strippers did for them? Did they not care how this makes OSU greeks look like to the GDI world, how it perpetuates the negative greek stereotype? How their actions and decisions totally went against what their brotherhood and fraternity code stand for? I am disappointed as a greek, and as a female, that this crap was perfectly acceptable to them, and that they thought they were above it. Chapters are closing at other schools for weaker reasons, we don't need another strong house to be brought to their knees by sanctions. If they hadn't done this stuff, there wouldn't have been anything to bring to IFC's attention. /rant

Off subject (and I agree with most of what you said), but women calling themselves sorostitutes is also not what I would call great for the greek community's reputation, by the way. It makes us all look cheap and easy, and I am neither of those things just because I wear letters. /rant

Point well taken. I was trying to show why other guys in other fraternities might be jealous of Phi Psi's status. Not the best choice of words, I apologize.

DTD has lost all credibility as a Fraternity from this day forward. Not that they had much to begin with, but now all Greek life despises them.

The census is in, no one in the greek community thinks this jason kid in delt is cool.

We are having a beer pong tournament during happy hour this Saturday and are trying to get three teams per fraternity (TKE, Phi Psi, Sammy, Sigma Chi, Kappa Sig and ATO)... we'd have more fraternities but since only the downstairs is open during this time space is limited.


Not because space is limited, it's because SigEp and FIJI blows and ATO took Beta's spot in the Big 6. Next question is if/when Phi Psi officially dies who will take its spot in the Big 6???

If we go by the rankings here (which most people would agree are a complete scam) that would leave ΑΤΩ, ΑΕΠ or ΣΑΕ as next in line for the Big 6. That just seems unrealistic to even the most optimistic of people, none of those guys could replace powerhouses that were Phi Psi and Beta (circa 2008). I guess it'll just have to be the Big 4 for the time being.

I mean, with Phi Psi out of the picture and Beta pretty much being non-existent, some sororities are going to be pissed with homecoming pairings.

In the past, Phi Psi, TKE, Sammy, Kappa Sig, Sigma Cho and Beta pretty much rotated with DG, Alpha Phi, Theta, Kappa, KD and Pi Phi. Now with Phi Psi officially not able to participate and Beta not being that desirable anymore, one or two top tier sororities might have to settle with someone outside the powerhouses. Couple that in with the rule that you have to wait a certain amount of quarters before you can do either HC/GW with a certain frat again (isn't 5 quarters) I suppose places like Delt, AEPi and Sig Ep (at least one of those three) might be able to get a top tier sorority for Homecoming. Then again, I don't know if a lot of sororities will want to do things with Delt since the whole Phi Psi situation.
