I think you are off on a few:

TKE/Sigma Chi
Sammy/Phi Psi
Kappa Sig/ATO/Beta
DTD/AEPi/Phi Delt

Those are pretty much the only frats that major sororities have had either Greek Week/Football Block/Homecoming with since last spring.

Why don't people consider Phi Delt to be a higher tier? If you are a senior this year in Phi Delt, by the end of this years Greek Week, you will have had either football block, homecoming or Greek week with KKG, Theta, DG, Pi Phi and Alpha Phi. Those names speak for themselves. Five of the six big time sororities. How many other frats can match that? I know a few can, but out of the ten listed below, not many.

Sig Chi has some cool guys but they are the most fake frat on campus. Everyone in it was the average shmo in hs and wore american eagle polos. Then they pledege, get issued their sig chi sperrys, khakis and blazer and think that they are in a frat from the south.

Clearly one of the best on campus. By far the classiest. The only fraternity here along with phi psi that would pass down south. Every other one is full of GDI looking scrubs. Newsflash to the greek community and students of OSU. If you are wearing american eagle, hollister or abercrombie shirts and are no longer in high school, you are a huge tool.

(a) Sigma Chi would not pass in the South, Sigma Chi would not even pass in West Virginia. These guys know nothing about being from the South - they don't hunt, they aren't wealthy, and they don't have a long tradition of excellence and dominance of campus life.

(b) How many Sigma Chis, and this more so applies to Phi Psi, wear flat bills and Nike hightops. Hey, those aren't Southern fratty. They're West Coast bro.

(c) The rest of your argument is valid.

I personally cannot stand this whole southern persona people in greek life are trying to pull off. Do you know where we go to school? In Ohio. The God damn midwest. Not Alabama. Not South Carolina. Not Georgia. That's how they do Greek life down there. I have no clue why so many people are trying so hard to bring southern culture to the midwest, where we already have an awesome culture. If you want to act southern fratty, then why don't you transfer to a school in the country where its more geographically sensible to do so? We are in the midwest. Be proud of it. Dress how you want. Well, dress well and don't look like a GDI, but it by no means make you more legit if you wear salmon khakis and a blazer to the O. It just makes you look like a fish out of water.

2. How do you know we're not wealthy? Have you seen our bank statements, parents' income, or old money?
3. Sigma Chi is the biggest Fraternity in the world and we are the longest standing chapter in EX, almost been consistently on campus for 150 years.
