gamma phi beta

I was reading that if an upperclassman wanted to do formal they should lean more towards Gamma Phi because they are probably choosing all different class ranges for their colony chapter... Is that accurate?

Colonies typically take all classes. Do they have to? No. But if you are a senior, it is probably your only chance to get a bid, but it isn't guaranteed. If you are a Junior, you have a much higher chance of getting a bid than in Formal Recruitment, but not guaranteed. Some chapters will bid Juniors in FR, but it's VERY limited.
