phi rho & asu recruitment

by: Curious alum

Being curious and spying on recruitment when I heard Phi Sigma Rho & Alpha Sigma Upsilon are doing the first round of formal recruitment this year.

I’m interested in what PNMs impression is of them (even if it’s not your major) & what actives think about them doing recruitment

I’m a new member and went in to both expecting to not like them and just zone out since they’re not even my majors.

I actually really liked psr. I was expecting them to be super awkward and nerdy, but they were interesting & they seemed like a normal sorority to me. And they have a house so that was a plus. Overall cute & girls I could see myself having fun with. I’m not in engineering so I knew I couldn’t join them, but I still enjoyed my time with them during their round. If I was considering them like other sororities, I’d probably rank them about some of the other normal ones I saw and consider them.

The ag one was kinda awkward and I zoned out. They just seemed really like a club more than a sorority to me. They were nice, but I just felt really uncomfortable talking to them and didn’t seem like the rest of the chapters. They seemed really small too. They’d maybe be more interesting if ag was interesting to me at all, but I just didn’t care for them. I can’t say much for them because like i said, I zoned out eventually and it was like my mental break

I agree with the last girl’s comment a lot.

I really had no interested in Phi sigma rho & wasn’t really excited for their round but I may go to one of their other events. The other one was weird and definitely not interesting to me
