informal rush as a junior

Would it be weird if I did informal rush as a junior? Do sororities take juniors? How would that even work? If it matters, I did formal rush my freshman year but dropped out after 2 rounds because it really stressed me out. I thought that wasn’t something I needed in my life but during sophomore year I sort of began wishing that I had maybe stuck it out during rush my freshman year.

Not at all! I know plenty of girls who went through informal as a junior and they all have had great experiences! It works the same as informal for any other girl.
