advice for informal?
by: juniorHi, I'm planning on rushing informally, and although we don't know which chapters are participating, does anyone have advice for this process? Obviously everyone does it differently, and its a bit more difficult to "trust the process" when informal is all so varied between each sorority? How would you recommend connecting with sororities informally and knowing where your best fit is?

My best advice would be to go to as many events as you can, between as many sororities as you can, so you can get a good idea of what they’re like! Feel free to ask them about their philanthropy, sisterhood, house, anything! Just make sure to always be polite( smile, don’t talk badly about other sororities) and appear interested! Remember, the sororities want members just as badly as you want to be in a sorority. So as long as you are friendly, just have fun and enjoy meeting people. Think of it less like a formal interview and more like a chance to meet new friends in each sorority. Even if you join say AOII instead of Pi Phi, you can still be friends with Pi Phi sisters after informal ends, so just relax and meet new people!
