number of fraternities

It seems like it would be way better for OSU to do a review of a lot of charters and start getting rid of the fraternities who don't really do anything more than a club. With the participation in our Greek Life, there really is no reason to have 36 fraternities, keep the top 20, let them have more members, then higher participation, nicer homes, better philanthropies, and there would still be enough to pair with the sororities, and maybe all chapters would have around 100ish instead of Phi Psi with 130 and some of the random, never heard ofs with 20/30

Ohio State already has (had) enough huge fraternities. There are solid different options for somebody looking at a variety of sizes of fraternity. The only reason Phi Psi and TKE are the Only large options is because Ohio State blows and wants to shut down Greek life the way it is, but honestly they were/still are the 2 best anyway. . New fraternities will rise up and Sammy and SigChi will recover. You can't just tell a brotherhood that's small that they need to disband. Not everyone has the same idea in mind as you and enjoy alternatives.
