rushing as a junior
by: old?Next year I’ll be a junior, and I want to get involved in Greek life. I was wondering if rushing as a junior would even be possible or if most houses wouldn’t want a junior new member? Any thoughts or advice? I’d be interested in doing formal or informal

I would recommend giving both formal and informal a shot! I know my house has taken juniors in both before. Definitely keep in mind that you may be dropped by a lot of houses during recruitment, but if you keep an open mind you should have a good chance. If you present yourself well and are willing to be in any sorority, you should at least give it a try.

that’s hard cause all sororities look for different types of girls and even the girls within them will have different opinions on what girls they want to join. ex.theta might b looking for girls that are super involved on campus, really good gpa etc, while a chi o could b looking for girls that are passionate about woman’s rights/ feminism/ girl power (and i’m not in these sororities so i don’t actually know if this is what they look for it’s just an example)
so legit just b urself but turn up the outgoing, friendly part since recruitment is kind of an interview and basically every sorority is looking for girls that are friendly
