informal recruitment event
by: pnmhi!!! I went to an informal recruitment event tonight! We basically sat in groups with two or three other ones and talked to an active. I feel like we didn’t even talk that much in our groups either. I was just wondering, how do sororitys decide who to give bids to after an informal recruitment event. does it matter how you think it went? do you need to know someone? does it help to know someone in the sorority? how to they make their decisions? thanks!!!

sorry for calling it a sorority I guess? idk what’s wrong with that, but yes I went to the event and just wanted to know how they make their decisions, why would any “troll” ask that??? just a curious pnm

Sounds like you only gave certain houses a shot. There’s no way if you went through formal recruitment that you just didn’t get a bid from any of the houses.

I knew someone in the sorority and I asked her and I also was signed up through pha so I emailed their vp of recruitment from an email from pha when they sent out the contact info.
