transfer/drop??

Hi, I was thinking of transferring somewhere after this year, and the schools I’m considering do not have the sorority I got a bid from. Should I stay or drop? I just feel guilty wasting people’s time being in a sorority that I know I want to drop and transfer. plz help

If you are just thinking about it, continue with your new member period but talk to the chapter president of new member trainer (whatever your chapter calls it). You typically have 6-8 weeks before initiation so you might change your mind about transferring after you get to know your new sisters.

If you know for sure you are transferring, then yes, drop so they have space to recruit another new member.

Just remember you can’t take a bid from another chapter, even at another school, if you get initiated by your chapter.
