too late to drop
by: uh ohI chose to rank my bottom two and now I regret not dropping and doing informal. Is there anything to do or am I supposed to wait for formal 2020?

You cannot drop at this point without penalty. You might as well show up to Bid Day tomorrow and give your new house a chance. You'll have up to initiation to drop. Who knows, they may surprise you! Plus, it's good to see how the rest of your pledge class is - they'll be the ones who actually determine how good your experience is.

Careful based on what the other two say, because chapters vary on if they’ll let you have a bid from them based on how far you went with another chapter. I.e. some chapters won’t give you a bid if you dropped a house after bid day or depending on if you saw any ritual.
Not always best to go to bid day if you think you’d rather rerush

But it wouldn't matter if they showed up to Bid day or not. And I don't think any houses would be able to verify if they showed up. It still counts as you getting a bid and dropping. Might as well try it out.
