by: yooooI just want to reiterate- dont believe everything you see here. Sure lots of people do give honest advice or opinions, but it is so easy to lie when anon. Posts that claim to be pmns saying which chapters they like can easily be girls in those chapters trying to make themselves look good. Generally if theres a lot of things like that posted about the chapter I would just think twice before basing any of your decisions on this stupid site. I think those who are the least talked about are often the least superfical and fake because there is not any negative tea (which can be legit) or no lying snakes trying to boost themselves. Any with a lot of positive and negative makes me weary.

im new but I keep seeing aphi, axd, zeta, and kappa (as well as others here and there but these are the most prominent). Both positive and negative. Are these chapters butting heads to raise their rank? Please help I really want to know because I want to know who is genuine and that stuff is not what I am about.

It's not butting heads. What they do is known as "self rank". Some of their members (not all of them) come on here and pretend to be frats or GDIs who rediculously praise the chapters. They will rank the sororitys and put their own chapters much higher than they really are.
Alpha Phi probably is the only one out of the 4 that doesn't self rank. They really are in the top 3 chapters but they have a general reputation that you will understand once you get into Greek Life. The other 3 definitely "boost" their chapter on this site. Yeah, other chapters do this too, just not as bad as the ones you list.
If you like the chapters for what you experience during recruitment, that's fine. Just don't go by what you see in the rankings.

The only ones you have to worry about are DG, alpha phi, tri delt, aephi, and fuzzy. Everyone else is pretty genuine even if they do get hate on here/self rank.
