Does anyone else agree that Alpha phi seemed really fake?? I don’t know I felt like my conversations at my other “top” houses surprised me after hearing things but I heard alpha phi is really good at recruitment but when you get a bid they are rude

i thought they were the most genuine out of the “top” ones. i liked them tri delt and theta the most.

I liked them. I don't get it. How do they change after you get a bid? People keep saying that is what happens there but I don't understand what changes/what they do to the girls once they are active??

Google Alpha Phi U Mich to see an example. It’s that competitive “big fish small pond” mentality girls have when they first come to college: you were prom queen, but everyone in your chapter is now someone who was prom queen. You can’t all be the prettiest, so you go from ranking PNMs to ranking each other. Sort of like evolution - weeding out the weakest links so you can continue to grow stronger and attract hotter and hotter girls.

of topic from OPs question because i don't have an answer nor can i confirm what happens after bid day in any house other than my own, but i don't think they've been going after the 'hottest' girls for a couple years now though. not IMO at least...

they do recruitment 'polishes' nonstop before recruitment rehearsing what they're gonna say. they go about it in a fake/scripted manner to give off a false impression

I hated a phi and dg I could tell they were being fake and they are all about looks
