time commitment first semester in a sorority

How much of a time commitment is a sorority your first semester after rush? I know there’s chapter but is there any meetings in the week that are specifically for new mems and what day of the week is that usually on?

every sorority is different but it is a big time commitment. there are usually new member meetings once a week and sisterhoods (which are really fun) in the first few weeks is when there are the most meetings
