Sororities will look at PNM’s Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and VSCO. As well as look them up online for any websites/ anything that their name will pop up for. It’s to get an idea of who the PNM is but also to see if they could be any sort of risk because of what they’re posting

Is it a bad thing if your account is private or does that not matter? I am okay with making it public and don't post anything bad but my IG has been private just since I downloaded it years ago I guess. Is it best to make it public during recruitment? I know we only get to talk to everyone for a super quick time period so not sure if this will help or hurt to make it public?

They probably already have someone following you from the house, but honestly I would suggest making it public. That way if a girl talked to you and wanted to look you up she can. We are not allowed to request to follow someone we recruited during recruitment, so the only way to stay fresh in those girls heads and have them pulling for you is to be public. However, being private won't hurt you. Posting alcohol WILL hurt you!!! it is not cool/cute and NO house will think it is, even those that are known for partying.

A girl recruiting will meet more pnms than a pnm rushing and meeting actual members.. with that being said during bigger rounds like meet the chapters and philanthropy they more than likely won’t stalk you unless something really caught their eye.. it might come after sisterhood or pref when they start narrowing down who they really want in their pledge class. In any case it really shouldn’t matter what your feed looks like but to some it does.
