dormers means everyone (or a large amount) sleeps in the same room. Tridelt has a dormer of about 30 girls, so 15 bunked beds. I think a chi o and a o pi also have them? Can someone help me with this?

When Tri delt recruited me they would take me to certain rooms that just had desks and dressers and I asked a question about where the beds were and they were not completely honest about what happens. They said something about sleeping somewhere else but did not mention the exact set up. I have heard about the dormer from current girls that live in, and they pretty much all hate it.

Aopi isn’t one with dormer rooms. A chi O also has them though

Aopi has lofts in some rooms. The largest room they have is a triple or quad I think. No dormers

honestly i'm in a chapter with dormers, not gonna mention which one bc i don't want to "self rank" but i genuinely enjoy it! my chapter only has 8-12 MAX sleeping in one dormer, not 30. also, it's nice to have a place with 24 hour quiet hours in our house so you can nap or chill out if you don't feel like socializing! another thing people like about it is that since your closet is in your daytime room, you don't have to change in the dark or wake anyone up. i'm a light sleeper and even though some alarms wake me up, it's pretty infrequent. go in with an open mind and don't let someone say "you'll hate this" before you see it and possibly experience it for yourself!

Im a senior and got to pick my room second out of everyone in our house. I picked a triple, my roomies sleep in there and I sleep in the dormer because i love talking naps after my afternoon classes.

something all the houses have in common is a lack of privacy in common spaces. it’s not like your parents house where you can just sleep on the couch bc people are coming and going all the time. i think a few houses have mini-living rooms where maybe you could nap, but mine just has out big living rooms so we cant

No house will show you these during rush, so it’s probably better for you to ask during a quicker round like meet the chapters so you know ahead of time - but overall shouldn’t make or break how you/feel or connect with a chapter cause some sororities can’t change the living spaces they’re given

All houses with them told me they had them or showed them. It’s not a secret.
