should i wait to rush with a low gpa

i originally had plans to rush for a fraternity in the spring, but after this semester I am not sure if I should. I’m currently an engineering major but would like to make the switch to business. Basically I have all a’s and b’s but in calc I have a C- which is a killer to my gpa, bringing it to around 2.8. I’m just concerned that I might get turned away by some of the larger fraternity next semester because of this. I’m using grade forgiveness for calc and switching to business so I’m expecting my gpa to improve since I won’t be in any stem classes besides math. If anyone has any input on this I would appreciate it. Thanks

You’re fine for most houses just see what they say about GPA at rush

Not a huge deal for frats. Would just probably not work for like SigEp or Phi Tau.
