to pnm's planning to live in...
by: hey!!
so here is what they don't tell you during recruitment ...
Remember how terrible it was living in Mack without AC this year? Well a lot of the houses do not have AC... ( Theta, Tri Delt, KD, etc.) oh and you know how you can't wait to live in and bond with your new sisters? ZTA doesn't even have a house, and Chi O will not next year due to renovations... so looks like you're stuck with luck of the draw university housing! Also, how annoying is it when your roommate's alarm wakes you up in the morning? Well... Try living in Tri Delt of A Chi O where both have dormer rooms! Dormer rooms meaning there are 15 bunked beds and 30 girls who sleep in there... Oh and good luck parking! They will try to lie to you about all of this, but these are the facts.

A lot of the bottom tier houses are soooo much better when it comes to living in. DZ, AOII, and GPhi are ones where you don’t have to fight hard for a spot to live in, and their houses are nice. The one with the lofts, can’t remember which of the lower houses oops, has a lot of singles and doubles. Just a perspective

Some houses are also the OG's (more elegant, respected, they were on campus first) so that would be theta, pi phi, tridelt, and kappa.
Also, Chio and Tridelt are getting brand new houses.
Zeta will get a brand new one in a few years.
Other houses like DG are brand new and beautiful.
Sorry your house is bottom tier and this is how you have to bring them down.

they may not straight up lie, but they will try to make the problems seem small and say its all fun and good times with no problems. I will say i lived in a house not mentioned above and the house is nice, and there is someone who cooks all your meals which is nice, its cozy, and you get to be real close to your sisters and the frat parties. so yeah some houses are def not as fun to live in, but some definitely are. im glad the op made this post though because this is the reality of living in for a lot of houses, and LOTS of houses have a live-in requirement. even if they try to minimize it, ask because some do require it but don't say it outright. good stuff to keep in mind.
