formal registration opens friday

An open letter to all PNMs—
Since formal recruitment registration opens this Friday, I thought this was necessary because I know many PNMs use this site.
Ranks don’t matter. You’ll find where you’re truly meant to be if you be who you are and enter each home with an open mind. Give each home a fair shot. Listen to the women speaking to you and answer their questions with your own flair and good heart. It is hard to trust the system. This process isn’t easy, but the houses prepare themselves properly to make you feel comfortable, so just relax and everything will be good in the end. Don’t believe anything you see on this site. Just be who you are!

Feel free to comment below any advice you have, pass on something kind or encouraging. Go bucks!

If you’re going through recruitment just to have Greek letters in your Instagram bio, please do not rush.

op said it well, please follow the advice that i didn’t when i rushed and ignore the ranks and cattiness that comes across on this page. Now that i’m in greek life i have friends all across the board regardless of “tiers” that are presented here and i’ve realized how socially it really doesn’t see to affect much. Try your best to not overthink recruitment and definitely stay off this site as much as you can, all the chapters are super excited for recruitment and spend a ton of time prepping to make sure every PNM gets a chance to get a feel for the girls in the chapter. Like it was said above as cliche as it sounds being yourself is the best way to understand if you’ll fit in with the chapter and the best way for the chapter to see you and your personality so it’s a win for everyone! :)

Is it too late to rush as a senior? Which sororities are still recruiting seniors?

Probably too late, but you won't know unless you try! Your best bet is COB if any sororities still have it going on.

Most houses want the highest percentage of the pledge class to be freshman with some sophomores. Juniors are always "on the fence". Desirable juniors (high gpa, cute, fashionable, great personality) can still get bids to top houses. Other juniors can get bids but many drop when they aren't asked back to their favorite houses and feel they are too good for others.
Rarely are seniors taken except when a new sorority is colonizing. If a chapter is far enough under total, they might be open to pledging you but a senior can't be selective.

Sororities do the inviting; pnms make their wish lists and can only hope for their top groups. Your best bet is maintaining a very open mind to the process, staying on your best manners, and making your sorority home choice based upon whichever group(s) see something in you for their home and invite you back. The best may yet be!
