the majority of freshman that rush do formal in the spring. usually over 1 thousand girls will go through the process. OSU requires the freshman take at least 1 semester of classes before rushing. Because of this, freshmen cannot join informally in the fall. They can, however, do informal in the spring after formal, and then do informal the following fall as well as formal and informal again in the spring and so on.
