formal fraternity recruitment

Do you think Ohio State will ever move to a formal recruitment process for fraternities similar to how it works for sororities?

they already are moving in that direction. they require all the houses to have a open house within a few day window, they have to submit their events to ifc, and there is an overall recruitment period

Not all of that is true. They can recruit whenever they want. There is no "rush" period. But I think "yeezus" is
talking about having a 2 week period where you have to visit every fraternity and then put them in and preference order and they have to choose you back, basiclly how sororities do it here. I have a feeling if this happened the small fraternities would benefit and the larger ones would be pissed.

benefit cause it would make freshman wouldn't normally even know they exist, make them aware of who they are and even have some of them join who normally wouldn't. more exposure = more pledges
