informal rush

I'm also transferring, we can't rush until Spring because we won't have a GPA until then, you start with a clean slate. I spoke to someone in the Greek Life office about this.

Chapters will not know whether or not they are at total capacity until the first week of classes (to calculate grads, deactivations, affiliations, and other chapter changes). So, there won't be any "for sure" houses until those are calculatated (my guesses/ recommendations: Chi-O, KD, Fuzzie, and A-ChiO will probably do informal and are solid chapters). As for Greekrank, don't listen to anyone on this site as far as chapter reputations are concerned. All chapters are wonderful, and it really devalues your experience to write off chapters because of what some internet troll said. Although I listed some chapters, all have great women :) Whether you decide to undergo fall informal or formal in the spring, I wish you the best of luck in finding your new home :)

Oh come on, the houses have a pretty good idea at the beginning of summer as to their numbers coming into Fall-there might be a couple surprise deactivations/deciding not to return to OSU but otherwise they can make a very educated guess. Most houses seem to be pretty stable right now.

If I had to guess (based in numbers and graduating seniors and because nothing is 100% sure until Welcome Week), I'd say chapters who might recruit during Fall 2013 are Chi Omega, Alpha Xi Delta, Kappa Delta, Delta Gamma, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Epsilon Phi, and maybe Kappa Alpha Theta and Alpha Chi Omega.
