informal
by: :(so i dropped from rush sunday morning because the house I wanted dropped me and the 2 houses I had left I really could not see myself in and I did not want to get a bid and be illegible for kappa or informal. do houses do informal in the spring or is it only in the fall? I'm a second year and I know my chances of going greek are slipping away since chapters don't usually want older girls. I've wanted to be in greek life my whole life so I'm just trying to see what my best option is from here.

Kappa would definitely be your best bet. Since recruitment is second semester, sophomores will have a lot less time to contribute than if recruitment was in the fall, which can be a deterrent to some. However, if this is your second time going through recruitment and you say you've always wanted to be in Greek life, and you still had 2 options left and yet chose to drop, it makes me wary of your motivations. As a sophomore you should be able to appreciate the diverse opportunities each chapter has to offer, instead of giving up on two choices you did have.

You wanted to be Greek your whole life and yet you were willing to throw away that chance because you thought the chapters that saw something in you weren't good enough for you?
Kinda sounds like you should reevaluate your priorities because something doesn't add up there.
