You guys are all in for a rude awakening if you think the version of the girls you see during recruitment is the same ones you’ll see in the chapter. During recruitment I can tell you from a combo of what me and my friends from other chapters have to do outside the normal: spray tans, manicures, certain clothing specifications, any dyed hair to be freshly dyed, spandex, makeup rules, etc.
90% of us are just average girls usually who are required to step up their game for recruitment. We don’t all put in as much effort usually as you see now. You probably don’t realize a vast majority of the girls you’ve seen probably tanned / spray tanned little bit.

I'm honestly doubting any sorority is _requiring_ an entire chapter to get a spray tan. They don't look good on everyone anyways.
Besides, PNMs would have already met all of their members. They already know what they look like so what would be the point of a spray tan.
Probably just something a group is doing for fun. Who cares anyways?

Okay? You’re so incredibly rude and I hope you’re a freshman so that you have plenty of time to grow tf up. There is nothing wrong with spray tanning, skin cancer is a real thing. Also. Just objectively speaking it’s unkind to bully others. I don’t think you’re aware.

I am disagreeing with everyone whose commented honestly. I heard about it too and I think it's awful. There's difference between girls getting spray tans on their own and a sorority specifically organizing an event to spray tan them all. If people wanna go off and do things that make them look their best I'm all for it I just don't think it should be a sorority organized event! It's shallow and honestly ridiculous.
